Busselton Jetty
Busselton Jetty at 1.8 km is the longest wooden jetty in the Southern Hemisphere — the 1865 timber structure has been extended multiple times to reach water deep enough for the timber ships, and the underwater observatory at the end gives views of a rich artificial reef.

Busselton Underwater Observatory
The underwater observatory at the end of Busselton Jetty descends 8 metres below sea level — the 12 windows look out at the marine life colonising the 150-year-old jetty pylons, including corals, fish, and invertebrates visible from within a heated chamber.

Dunsborough at the northern end of Geographe Bay is the entry point for the Cape Naturaliste peninsula — the town is the staging point for whale watching tours in winter and the gateway to Yallingup and the surf coast to the south.

Geographe Bay Humpback Whale Migration
Geographe Bay is a nursery for humpback whales migrating south from Broome — from July to October, the calm bay fills with mothers and calves who rest and nurse before continuing their journey south, visible from the Busselton Jetty and Cape Naturaliste lighthouse.
