The Langkawi SkyCab is the steepest single-cable aerial tramway in the world — the gondola ascending at gradients exceeding 42 degrees from the Oriental Village base at 100m elevation to the middle station and then to the top station at 708m provides views that transition from forest canopy to the coast and then to the panoramic open view of the Andaman Sea archipelago as the altitude increases. The cable car's steepness means the ascent is genuinely dramatic, with the mountain face apparently dropping away beneath the gondola in the final section.

Langkawi SkyBridge
The Langkawi SkyBridge is a 125-metre curved suspension bridge suspended 100m above the jungle between two peaks of Gunung Machinchang — the bridge accessible from the top station of the cable car by a short walk through the summit forest provides views down into the forest canopy below and across to the Andaman Sea and the Thai coast to the north. The bridge's curved design and its position suspended between mountain peaks with jungle below and sea visible in the distance has made it one of the most photographed structures in Malaysia.
